Thurrock selective licensing applies to privately rented properties that are not HMOs in 16 named wards, with four wards excluded.
The scheme covers 20 named wards. Two streets on either side of a ward boundary can end up with different answers, so checking the ward of the property matters more than the postcode.
The standard fee is £1,034.90, paid in two parts: £236.98 on application (Part A) and £797.92 after the council decides to grant the licence (Part B).
