Paid in two parts: £588 on application (Part A) and £512 before the licence is issued (Part B).
Properties exempt from this scheme
- Properties licensable as an HMO under mandatory licensing are exempt.
- Properties let by a local authority or Registered Provider are exempt.
- Properties subject to a temporary exemption notice are exempt.
- HMOs managed by a charity registered under the Charities Act 2011 may be exempt.
- Homes let to up to two single unrelated people are exempt.
- Single family dwellings occupied by one household are exempt.
